I’m regularly being asked on social media about the correct reading order for the Space Team Universe books, so I thought I’d provide the definitive optimum order for reading the STU adventures. Of course, you don’t have to read them in this order, but you’ll get the most out of them if you do.
- Space Team
- Space Team: The Wrath of Vajazzle
2a. Space Team: The Holiday Special (found in Space Team: A Lot of Weird Space Shizz) - Space Team: The Search for Splurt
- Space Team: Song of the Space Siren
- Space Team: The Guns of Nana Joan
- Space Team: Return of the Dead Guy
- “Dial D for Deadman”
7a. “Dead Men Don’t Get Paid” (found in Space Team: A Lot of Weird Space Shizz) - Space Team: Planet of the Japes
- “Dead Inside”
- Space Team: Time Titan of Tomorrow
- “Dead in the Water”
- Space Team: The King of Space Must Die!
- Space Team: Sting of the Mustard Mines
- Space Team: Sentienced to Death
- Space Team: The Hunt for Reduk Topa
- Konto Garr: Bounty Hunter and Occasional Babysitter (Coming 2021)
Hope that helps! Bookmark this page and I’ll update it as new books come out.
Erm…just wanted to say thank you really.
Don’t wory, I am sure a plethora of funny shizz will be coming your way soon in the comments.
But for now, thanks again, your books make me laugh.
I must say to find this was amazing. I really dislike reading a non out of chronological order, it irritates me because I reference need material in my head. I just started space team ten and Dan said he met them before and the “loud mouth” I think it was a few times. That’s when I realized that that series crosses path with space team and shares character interaction. So stop, Google up this list, and rejoice. I don’t know if they are released in this order but most of the core space team books happen without Dan so hopefully going back and listening now before listening to the rest of chapter 3 and beyond supply be to distracting. Wish I thought to check first, that was my bad. By the way I was in the grocery store this week paining so hard I was tearing up and several people liked at me like I was nuts booshy neighborhood I guess… Anyway someone asked what book it was when I explained and they figured they would look into it. Dunno if they will but I have sent several readers your way and I own all the books in kindle and audible format, all rated and I try to remember to review add I know that also helps. Cheers!
Hi Barry, I’ve enquirer before but no reply. I’ve loved the free material. I really want to buy all the Space Team in kindle. But I live in China and it’s not on Amazon.cn
Are there any plans to make them all available. I’ll certainly end up purchasing them all.
Steven
I had no idea the Dan Deadman series was an integral part of the Space team series (until I got to the King of Space must die.. and all of a sudden Dan was there…?!). Wish I had seen this list BEFORE I got to Time Titans… oh well! At least I still have the Deadman series to listen to while waiting for the Sting of Mustard Mines to be released on Audible!
Just want to say thank you. Rarely do I laugh out loud while reading. This has become one of my favorite all time series.
I really enjoy the space team universe & the deadman detective!! Unfortunately they are available through kindle. Is there anyway to download to a kobo app/reader (reader preferably)?
I cant wait till sentenced to death releases on audible!
I’m a 30 year old man and I’ve been listening to the Space Team books whenever I’m driving. I finished The King of Space Must Die semi-recently and was pretty bummed that it was all over. Today I found out there’s at least 2 more AND a new series coming. And. I’m. Beyond. Excited.
I just caught the Reduk Topa pun and I’m so giggly about all this. Stop Barry you’re killing me.
Any news on later books getting the audible treatment. I just finished the first 2 books and went down the list adding the rest to my phone when it all came to a grinding halt with Sentienced to Death and The Hunt for Reduk Topa.
I was hooked by chapter 3 of the first book. I listen while driving and it seems other drivers avoid the guy laughing.
Hey, just a nitpick, shouldn’t the holiday special come before wrath of vejazzle?
I just finished wrath and the gang are about to go look for splurt, but holiday special opens with splurt on the bridge of the Shatner.
Best series of books I’ve ever read. Thanks for the memories – I’ll look forward to reading them again! Write more, please – I miss the team already!
Kim
Where does The Last Bounty, Nun Shall Pass, Splurt Home Alone and Death Comes to Carverville fit into the reading order?
I loved shippy mcshiperston I laughed and I don’t know why
Just finished Reduk Topa! Love the series but can’t find anymore!!!! Is Space Team Over???
Can’t find KONTO Garr either!
What up?
Thank you so very much.
Now I can read (listen to) all the books again and this time I know how to do it in the right order. Which is
1. Get chocolate.
2. Get coffee.
3. Get vodka.
4. Get phone and choose Space Team folder and
5. Get some more vodka.
5. Press play.
6. Press pause.
7. Should be number one but kick everyone else out of your home.
8. Play.
9. Press play button and start to listen.
There is a vague indication of number 10.
It will suddenly appear (it wants to surprise so lets just act like we don’t see it – even that I do see it – it’s huge) if there is still just 12 Space team books when I reach that book 12.
10. Drink all that vodka (assuming there is some left) and start a new daily routine – being messaging the author daily (maybe thrice a day) asking (demanding) information about book 13.
Sincerely hope we don’t need to go to number ten, I’m far too lazy to. Do. Anything.
I love the books but…frankly new material comes out so infrequently that I’m losing interest. I’m fighting a very aggressive form of lymphatic cancer, and I’d rather not spend my final time waiting, I’d prefer to spend it reading.
So thanks for the material you managed to get out, and good luck on your future endeavors.
Just to give you an idea of the wide range of people your books interest, I’m a former USAF fighter pilot, who flew the F-15C, a retired captain with Continental Airlines, and I spent about a decade as a deputy sheriff here in the great state of Texas. I’ve been married for almost 3 decades, and we raised 3 (now adult) children, who are all fans of Splurt and company.
So thank you.
Jamie
Jamie, you have my best wishes and respect for all that you ahve done. Thanks. wishing you and yours well.
Thomas
are we still wating for All The President’s Space Men? ive noticed its not on the list anymore.
Thank you so much for this absolutely hilarious series. Oddly enough, it has been a perfect series for my 16 yr old daughter and I to read/listen to together. I’m very grateful to you for this, as she grows so does the generation gap leaving us less common ground.
My time spent with her listening to the audio books, laughing and quoting characters while she does her artwork and I crochet has been priceless and cathartic.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Barry! I have All of your space team, Dead man and sidekicks works. Just haven’t heard from you and a long while. hoping all is well and wanted you to know I check Audible regularly for your next work to drop. My thanks for all your work. I really enjoy it.
Thank you.
Thomas
Bwahahahahaha!
Thank you sir!!
I have to say I’ve enjoyed this series. I’m blind and have to listen until I found graphic audio listening to that version brings it all to life in my mind. You are a great story teller, and I’m looking forward to the next space team adventure.
